Well ladies and gentlemen, this week we bring you some of the cool new sites we have found in our daily Internet wanderings:
Google’s done it again with Google Hotpot, a tool that aggregates destinations by neighborhood and rating for a user’s specific likes and preferences. The user starts by entering a category and neighborhood. Next, the user then rates the restaurants and the Hotpot will give better, more specific recommendations each time.
Tynt Insight allows you to see what is being copied and pasted from your site and helps you measure what content is most valuable to the user. When a website is Tynt enabled a link is added to the bottom of anything that is copied and pasted so that it is easier for someone to go back to the original content increasing page views.
To continue the conversation on social gifting this holiday season we found a website that makes it extremely easy. eGift Social allows you to purchase gift certificates from popular retailers and email or Facebook them to friends and family.
Has Foursquare become “so last year?” Possibly, with new app Geoloqi being released in January 2011. Geoloqi takes a new look at GPS based applications without the over share aspect of Foursquare that some people still haven’t come to terms with.
