Atlanta’s rich cultural and musical heritage is well-known globally, but truly capturing what makes the city unique calls for a more personal perspective. The “Atlanta Inspires” social media campaign campaign centered on Ashilee Ashilee, a local music producer, to unveil the city’s distinctive charm. Our goal was to create content that celebrates Atlanta’s musical legacy while inviting visitors to experience its authentic City in the Forest through someone else’s eyes.
Atlanta is a city where trends are born, not followed. By spotlighting local talent and their creative processes, we reveal the city’s transformative energy and resilience, showcasing what makes it a true cultural powerhouse.
The “Atlanta Inspires” campaign, part of the larger “On A Different Level” initiative with the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau, seamlessly extended the existing creative concept. We implemented a targeted video production strategy, showcasing Ashilee Ashilee in iconic Atlanta locations—from music studios to vibrant restaurants and green spaces. Each scene highlighted the city’s diversity and creativity, complemented by a custom song Ashilee composed for the series. We further amplified the campaign with a dedicated landing page on the ACVB’s website, featuring Ashilee’s unique perspective and driving traffic through engaging social media content.
The “Atlanta Inspires” campaign generated just under 25M video views, 3M engagements, and nearly 40M impressions—outperforming similar campaigns with the same budget. By weaving Atlanta’s rich tapestry into the campaign, we presented the city as a vibrant, inspiring destination, effectively immersing viewers in its narrative and creative spirit.
