The "Travel Oregon with Travel Oregon" campaign, initially developed by Wieden+Kennedy, celebrates that Oregon’s true magic is best experienced with a guide. Our goal was to adapt this concept into a compelling social-first approach, transforming the 'Sidekicks'—Oregon’s vibrant guides—into engaging social content, inspiring the audience to explore and book their next adventure.
By pairing real-life guides with the 'Sidekicks' to craft personalized stories and itineraries, we can transform Oregon’s overwhelming choices into immersive travel experiences.
To connect with social audiences, we crafted 44 diverse pieces of content featuring the unique personalities of Oregon guides—like Eastern Oregon ranchers and Portland food tour experts—and integrated playful 'Sidekicks.' This approach highlighted personalized adventures and seasonal trends in sustainable travel, outdoor activities, and cultural experiences. As a result, we created immersive, socially native content that deepened visitors' understanding and appreciation of Oregon.
The campaign generated 7.5M completed video views and 62.8K clicks directed to Travel Oregon’s website, significantly enhancing audience engagement and awareness of Oregon’s diverse offerings.
